# Buying Phone Numbers

> Purchase phone numbers for your AI calling campaigns

## Overview

Purchase phone numbers to enable inbound and outbound AI calling. Phone numbers are billed monthly and require business verification before purchase.

## Prerequisites

### Business Verification

**Required Before Purchase:**

Before you can buy phone numbers, you must complete business verification by submitting:

1. **GST Certificate** - Goods and Services Tax registration
2. **CIN Certificate** - Corporate Identification Number

    * Company details match your account

### Sufficient Credits

Ensure you have enough credits in your account:

**Important:**

* Credits are deducted immediately upon purchase
* Phone numbers are billed monthly on a recurring basis

## Purchase Process

    From **Phone Numbers** dashboard, click **"Buy Phone Numbers"** button

      If not verified, you'll be prompted to complete compliance first.

    View table of available phone numbers with:

    **Columns:**

    * **Phone Number** - Full number with country code
    * **Country Code** - Country prefix (+91 for India)
    * **Price** - Monthly cost
    * **Purchase** - Buy button

    **Features:**

    * Search by phone number
    * Filter by country code
    * Sort by number or country

    Click **"Purchase"** button on your desired number

    A confirmation modal will show:

    * Complete phone number
    * Country code
    * Monthly price
    * Credit deduction warning

  <Step title="Confirm Purchase">
    Review details and click **"Buy Now"**

    <Warning>
      Credits will be deducted immediately from your account
    </Warning>

    **What Happens:**

    * Credits deducted instantly
    * Number added to your account
    * Billing starts today
    * Number becomes active immediately

  <Step title="Configure Agents (Optional)">
    After purchase, you can immediately configure:

    **Outbound Agent:**

    * Select one agent for outbound calls
    * Agent must not have an outbound number assigned
    * This number will be used for all outbound calls from this agent

    **Inbound Agent:**

    * Select one agent to handle incoming calls
    * Any agent can be assigned
    * All calls to this number will be handled by this agent

## After Purchase

### Immediate Changes

Once you purchase a number:

✅ **Number is Active** - Ready for calls immediately\
✅ **Credits Deducted** - Monthly cost removed from balance\
✅ **Billing Started** - First cycle complete, next billing in 30 days\
✅ **Available in Dashboard** - Appears in your Phone Numbers list

### Configure Agents

You can assign agents to your number anytime:

**From Phone Numbers Dashboard:**

1. Find your purchased number
2. View Outbound Agents and Inbound Agent columns
3. Configure from agent settings

**Agent Assignment Rules:**

* **Outbound:** One agent per number (agent can't have multiple outbound numbers)
* **Inbound:** One agent per number (but agent can handle multiple inbound numbers)

### Next Billing Date

Your billing cycle starts immediately:

**Example:**
