AI FDE keeps your conversations so you can return to previous work.

Manage chat history

Select Open chat list to view Recent chats. From the chat list, you can:
  • Open a previous conversation.
  • Select New or New Chat.
  • Rename a conversation.
  • Load more conversations.
  • Load older messages in a long conversation.
Team members in the same organization may be able to read conversations under All. Do not place passwords, API keys, or other secrets in AI FDE chats.

View a teammate’s chat

A teammate’s conversation is read-only. You can review it, but only the owner can reply or rename it. The composer shows:
This chat belongs to the owner. You can view it, but only the owner can reply.

Share a conversation

Use Make public to create a read-only link.
  1. Open Recent chats.
  2. Open More options for the conversation.
  3. Select Make public.
  4. Share the copied link.
  5. Select Disable sharing when the link is no longer needed.
Anyone with a public link can read the shared conversation without signing in. Review the complete chat for confidential prompts, attachments, customer data, and outputs before sharing it.

Attach files

Select Add → Attach files, drag files onto the input, or paste a copied file or screenshot. You can attach up to 5 files per message, with a maximum size of 20 MB per file. Common supported files include:
  • PDF and Word documents.
  • Excel and CSV files.
  • PowerPoint presentations.
  • Text, Markdown, JSON, HTML, and XML.
  • Images and screenshots.
  • Audio and video.
  • ZIP files and notebooks.
Example:
Tell AI FDE how to use each attachment. For example, say whether it is a source of truth, an example, or a file that needs analysis.

Use voice input

  1. Select Type with your voice.
  2. Allow microphone access.
  3. Speak your request.
  4. Select the microphone again to stop.
  5. Review the text and send it.
Voice input appears only when the browser supports speech recognition.

Use Skills

  2. In the Tools panel, select Add.
