Overview

Personal phone number verification depends on your business verification status:
Business verification not completed: You must verify each personal phone number through OTP before you can use it for test calls. This is the only way to test agents until you complete business verification (GST & CIN compliance).
Business verification completed: You can test agents on any phone number. Personal phone number verification through OTP is not required.
For businesses awaiting verification, testing works as follows:
  1. Verify your personal phone number through OTP
  2. Build your agent
  3. Click “Test Call” button in agent UI
  4. Agent calls your verified number
  5. Test the conversation

Verification Steps

Navigate to Verified Phone Numbers

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Verified Phone Numbers

Add Phone Number

Click “Add Phone Number” and enter the personal number you want to use for test calls, including the country code (e.g., +919876543210)

Receive OTP

6-digit OTP sent to WhatsApp

Verify

Enter OTP and click “Verify” → Number is ready for test calls

Using Test Calls

The following steps apply if you have not completed business verification. If your business verification is complete, you can enter any phone number for a test call without verifying it through OTP.

Create and configure your agent

Click Test Call Button

In agent interface, click “Test Call”

Select Verified Number

Choose the personal number you verified through OTP

Agent Calls You

Agent will call your verified number - answer and test the conversation

  • Can be deleted
  • Resend OTP after 60 seconds

Troubleshooting

  • Check WhatsApp is installed and active
  • Verify internet connection
  • Wait 60 seconds and resend OTP
  • Double-check all 6 digits
  • Request new OTP if expired
  • Number may already be verified on another account
  • Ensure country code is included
  • Verify number status is “Verified” ✅
  • Check you have call credits
  • Ensure correct verified number selected
