This section controls how the agent starts a conversation and how it properly ends a call — greetings, closing messages, and call-ending rules.

Call Initiation

This decides how the conversation begins once a call connects.
  • User Speaks First: the user starts, and the agent responds.
  • Agent Initiates Naturally: the agent starts on its own, using its reasoning and context.
  • Agent Initiates with Custom Message: the agent starts with a fixed message you provide.
  • Initial Delay for Outbound Calls: the delay (in seconds) before the agent speaks.
  • Allow Initial Message Interruption (ON/OFF): whether the user can interrupt the agent while it is speaking the initial message on outbound calls.

Call Termination / End Call Message

Here you give the agent a custom closing message. Once the agent speaks this message, it understands the conversation is complete and ends the call accordingly.
